“One thing that almost defines the east side is its lack of gated communities,” Denis says. “You go to Summerlin and every house looks exactly the same, but there are people who like that. What attracts some people to the east side is that you can have your own style, that you’re not being told that you can’t hang a flag or paint your garage purple, even if everybody doesn’t like it. Your landscaping doesn’t have to meet someone’s criteria. Even up on the mountain, all those houses have been built over different periods of time, and it’s a very eclectic mix.”| More…
